I've always been drawing and painting, doodling, etc., but only recently started to paint birds and wildlife more seriously. I have always admired French impressionist artists and field sketchers, who significantly influenced my painting style. I try to combine (not always successfully) fast sketching, impressionistic segments, with scientifically accurate details of birds and other animals.
